Maya Zalaya

Maya, a native of Honduras, brings a diverse background and a passion for community service. With a degree in Biology, focusing on microbiology, she now serves as the Operations Manager at a leading construction company.
Her dedication to education is reflected in her work developing a school program for Middle and High Schools in Greeley, Colorado.
Outside of work, Maya is a devoted mother to two children: her 16-year-old daughter, who shares her love for volunteering, and her 10-year-old son, who enjoys video games and fishing. Maya is also a fitness enthusiast, avid reader, and former bodybuilding competitor. Holding the title of Miss Cherry Creek for Colorado Strong, she actively participates in community development events.
