Jennifer Salazar

Jennifer Salazar, a Colorado native from Gypsum, has always believed in the power of education. She earned a degree in Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management from Johnson & Wales University, graduating in 2006. A 3.5 GPA helped her secure scholarships and Phi Theta Kappa honors, and she later interned aboard a Norwegian Cruise Line ship in Hawaii. Jennifer began her federal career with the Social Security Administration (SSA) in 2010, where she worked as a Claims Representative and served on the Hispanic Affairs Advisory Council. She's now celebrating 15 years with the federal government and is currently working for the Department of Labor. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys volunteering, salsa dancing, hiking, and spending time with her husband, two children, and dog. She believes in the power of faith, perseverance, and continuous learning.
